Jerusalem Post - With the world's attention having shifted over the last few weeks to Egypt and Syria, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu tried Sunday to bring it back to Iran, telling an American audience that the Islamic Republic was just 60 kilos of 20% enriched uranium short of crossing his "red line."
Netanyahu, speaking on CBS's "Face the Nation," said the Iranians were "edging up to the red line." He defined his red line beyond which the Iranians would not be allowed to proceed as being the possession of 250 kilos of 20% enriched uranium, enough fissile material needed for a nuclear bomb. He said they now have 190 kilos, up from about 110 kilos six to eight months ago.
Netanyahu said that the Iranians were also building "faster centrifuges that would enable them to jump the line at a much faster rate. That is, within a few weeks."
"They're getting closer," he said. "They should understand that they're not going to be allowed to cross it." More
